Your first dance in salsa, bachata or a custom mix - Salsa Rayo, Agios Dimitrios
Wedding dance choreography is the most personal way to make your first dance unforgettable. At Salsa Rayo we design custom wedding choreographies in salsa, bachata, or a combination of both - built around your song, your level, and the style of your wedding, with no previous dance experience required.
Most first dances are a slow waltz or a gentle sway. A salsa or bachata wedding choreography stands out: it surprises your guests, it shows the connection between you as a couple, and it looks incredible on camera - turns, dips and real movement instead of an awkward shuffle. Because it is choreographed to your level, it stays achievable while still looking polished, so you feel confident the moment the music starts.

Romantic, sensual and the easiest place to start. The basic step is learned fast, the movement is smooth, and a single dip at the end gives you the photo of the year. The most natural choice for couples with no dance background.
Start romantic, finish on fire. The dance opens with a slow song and after 30-40 seconds the music switches to salsa or bachata. Your guests' reaction to that transition is almost always explosive - our most requested wedding choreography.
Discovery meeting. We talk about your wedding style, the music you love, your comfort level with dancing, and any ideas you already have - so we design something that truly represents you.
Music selection. The song drives everything. It can be a track with emotional meaning, a classic salsa or bachata piece, or a latin remix of a song you already love.
Choreography. We build a routine to your measure - moves you can perform with confidence, photo highlights (a dip, a turn, a pose), and a structure that builds to a climax.
Rehearsal. The final lessons focus on practice, timing and comfort. The goal is not technical perfection - it is feeling confident and happy on the big day.
A simple, elegant bachata first dance takes around 4 to 6 private lessons over 3 to 4 weeks. A fully choreographed salsa or mix routine usually needs 8 to 12 lessons over 6 to 8 weeks. We recommend starting at least 2 months before the wedding, which leaves room to learn, rehearse and polish without pressure.

Yes. We build the entire routine around the track you choose - whether it is a meaningful song, a classic salsa or bachata piece, or a latin remix - and adapt every step to your level so it feels natural and personal.
Bachata is easier and more romantic, ideal for couples with no background. Salsa is more energetic and impressive but needs a little more preparation. Many couples choose a mix that starts slow and builds into salsa or bachata. We help you decide at the first meeting.
Ideally 2 to 3 months before the wedding. That said, even with 2 weeks and 3 focused lessons you can put together a confident basic dance - far better than no preparation at all.
Tell us your wedding date and the song you have in mind, and we'll build a choreography around you.
