What dance styles do you teach?

We teach Salsa, Bachata, Mambo, Pachanga, Afro-Fusion and Boogaloo. Each style is offered at multiple levels so you can progress at your own pace.

How do I know which level is right for me?

If you're completely new to dance, start with Salsa Beginners, which is the first level. If you already have some experience, reach out to us and we'll help you find the right class.

What days and times are classes held?

Classes run Monday through Thursday, from 19:00 to 23:00. Check our schedule section on the homepage for the full weekly timetable.

What should I wear to class?

Wear comfortable clothing that allows freedom of movement. Dance shoes with suede soles are ideal. If you don't have any, don't worry, you can simply wear socks. Sneakers are unsuitable because they restrict movement and can cause injury.

How long is each class?

Each class lasts 50 minutes, and there is a 10-minute break between classes.

Can I try a class before committing to a package?

Yes! We want you to feel confident before you commit. Contact us to arrange a trial class so you can experience the energy, the teaching style, and the community firsthand.

What packages do you offer?

We offer three flexible monthly packages: Rayo 8 (2 classes per week, €50/month), Rayo 16 (4 classes per week, €75/month), and Rayo 24 (6 classes per week, €99/month). Each package gives you access to the full range of class styles.

Is there a student discount?

Yes! We offer a 10% discount for students with a valid student ID. Simply present your student ID when signing up and the discount will be applied to any of our packages.

Where is the school located?

We're located at Thermopylon 19, Agios Dimitrios, Athens. The area is easily accessible by public transport as well as by car. There is easy parking on the surrounding streets.

How do I get there by public transport?

Agios Dimitrios is connected by the Athens Metro (Line 2 - Red Line). The school is a short walk from the Agios Dimitrios metro station. You can also reach us by bus - check our map for detailed directions.

Who are the instructors?

Our teachers are Konstantinos Bitsis, Anna Lontou and Natasha Chumakova, award-winning salsa dancers with international competition experience. They've trained with top instructors worldwide and bring years of experience, passion and positive energy to every class.

What does 'Rayo' mean and what is Salsa Rayo?

"Rayo" means lightning in Spanish. Salsa Rayo is a dance school founded by Konstantinos Bitsis and Anna Lontou - an internationally competing dance duo. The name represents the explosive energy, speed, and power we bring to every class. We combine world-class salsa technique with a warm, welcoming atmosphere in Athens.
